Who We Are
Heart of Louise. Mother & daughter. Change Agents.
Erica (mom) and Korinne, or K (daughter) started Heart of Louise as a way to reach members of our community in relation to educational access/needs, programs and resources, and ways to create a more inclusive society.
Korinne was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 6. There have been many wonderful lessons learned and it has become the focus of what we want to share with Heart of Louise. Not one person with autism is the same, the understanding of what autism is, how we learn and grow makes a world of difference in their lives and ours.
What We Do

— We Find & Fund
We research different programs that cater to the needs of individuals with different abilities and autism. We provide individuals with grants or make donations to those organizations to help sponsor a child to attend a service, function or class.

— We Build Networks
If you want to go, go alone. If you want to go far take someone else. We are not in this alone. We’re in this journey together.
We build connections along the way that add to our network of people and organizations that sharpen our knowledge and build bridges worldwide.

— We Strengthen
The road is rough at times. It can feel like a lonesome journey for someone with or taking care of someone with autism. We’re here to help, encourage, and love on.
We need each other.

Iron sharpens iron. As we learn, we share. When we know better, we do better.

— We Care
Autism awareness is an everyday walk for us, not a hashtag or slogan. We share the love, we have been fortunate to receive and lend a hand where we can.
